1. How can King of Kings help me if I am interested in pursuing a faith relationship with God for the first time or if I am seeking to renew a relationship with God? Throughout the year, King of Kings offers “Discovering the Christian Faith” (DTCF), a small group study that introduces or reintroduces you to the Christian faith and what the Bible says about Jesus Christ and His salvation from a Lutheran-Church Missouri Synod perspective. DTCF is an excellent opportunity to build friendships with other who are also pursuing a relationship with the Lord. Do you have any nursery or special worship for younger children? King of Kings offers a staffed nursery for infants-3 year olds during both our Sunday morning worship services (Classic Worship – 8:00 a.m. and Fusion Worship – 11 a.m.) and for our Sunday School/Christian Education hour. (9:30-10:30 a.m.) During our 11 a.m. Fusion Worship, children ages 3-5 are excused in the middle of worship to attend Kids’ Own Worship. Parents pick up their children following worship. 3. How do I find out more information about getting married at King of Kings? Here at King of Kings all marriages are conducted as a worship service in which God seeks to bless the bride and groom who desire God to be the center of their marriage. All couples who intend to be married at King of Kings will meet with the pastor who will be conducting their wedding in a series of pre-marriage appointments. Couples also are expected to coordinate matters related to their marriage with the Director of Worship & Music and the King of Kings’ Wedding Coordinator. Is King of Kings’ facility available for use? King of Kings is happy to consider your requests for use of its facilities. Please note that King of Kings is unable to honor requests that will result in personal gain to the user or users, as well as requests for events that would compromise King of Kings’ beliefs and values. What is King of King’s policy concerning attendance at the Sacrament of Holy Communion? Guests who are not members of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod or who have questions concerning Holy Communion or the teaching of the Real Presence should speak with one of the pastors before communing for the first time.
