Becoming a member

If you desire to become a member of King of Kings (KOK) and you are not transferring active membership from another Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregation or another Lutheran church with which the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod is in altar and pulpit fellowship, you are invited to participate in Discovering the Christian Faith (DTCF). DTCF is a small group study that introduces or reintroduces you to the Christian faith and what the Bible says about Jesus Christ and His salvation from a Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod perspective. At the end of DTCF you will have the option of indicating your desire to become a member of KOK.

All adults desiring to become members of KOK will also participate in a Discovering King of Kings (DKK) orientation prior to being received into membership. DKK will help you to understand how KOK functions as a family of faith and help you transition to the KOK faith community.
