Sunday School

Sunday School is designed for students ages 3 – 5th grade.  Students meet during the Education Hour on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30AM.  Students and their teachers gather in the Chapel for music and prayers and then head to their classrooms for instruction using the Simply Loved curriculum where we learn through play. Please click here to provide basic information about your child so we can be prepared to greet him/her. We would love to welcome your family and get your child involved!

Junior & Senior High Youth Group

Confirmation:  Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades receive instruction in the Christian faith plus the basic teachings of the Lutheran Church – LCMS. The formal instruction that leads to Confirmation for both adults and children is based on Martin Luther’s Small Catechism and is designed to clarify Christian doctrine and teach the life of the Church to Christians. (Adults who have not been Confirmed meet with the Pastor for individual instruction.) If you are interested in enrolling your student in the Confirmation program please speak with Pastor. He can be reached by email or by calling or texting directly to 708-310-2400.

Bible Study:  Sunday morning Christian education is available for students in both Junior (grades 6-8) & Senior (grades 9-12) High during the Education Hour as well.

Monthly Activities: We believe strongly that the development of a robust Christian faith is facilitated by having strong Christian community. In addition to passing on Biblical truth we value the importance of community for our young people. We know families are busy but our aim is to encourage young teens to build meaningful relationships through Bible study, fellowship, service, and fun activities that grow and stretch their faith.
