A New Worship for the New People of God

“A New Worship for the New People of God”
Romans 11:33 – 12:8

What does life in Christ look like? The Israelites experienced worship that God designed, and directed them toward, through His holy Law. How easy it is to approach worship as if we are still Israelites, obediently responding to God’s command but limiting worship to a narrow corner of our life prompted by obedience to His law. This morning we will discover from St. Paul how our Lord Jesus’ tremendous salvation victory changes everything. Christ’s victory powerfully transforms us from the inside out, enabling us to freely honor God – not only in our worship actions on Sunday morning, but to worship Him in all of the callings He has given us as His made-alive children.
