Genesis 32: 22 – 30
Have you ever said to yourself – or someone else – “when I get to heaven, I’m going to ask God about…”? I think most of us have. This morning we will revisit last week’s Old Testament Lesson, where we find Jacob – who had fled from his brother Esau for fear of death – preparing to meet him with a peace offering the next day. That night, Jacob has an unusual encounter that changes his life, and his name, forever, and just might answer some of the questions he might have had about his relationship with God. This morning we welcome Pastor John Mitchell to the pulpit to bring us a message from God’s Word. Pastor Mueller is on vacation and will return to the office on Tuesday. May God encourage your faith and strengthen your walk with Him as you worship with us this morning.
