Pastor John has been thrilled to be part of God’s mission and experiencing God at work whether involved in church planting and leadership training in Nigeria W. Africa, recruiting and training missionaries, or pastoring God’s people on the move here in congregations in the U.S. Pastor John considers it an exciting privilege to be called to King of Kings congregation since 2003 and as King of Kings seeks to engage over 80,000 people who are near neighbors and who still need to be rescued by Christ. Pastor John and his wife, Carol have been blessed with four children, three son-in-laws and three grandchildren.

 

Pastor Benjamin Kaiser
Associate Pastor

Pastor Ben Kaiser is a forgiven child of God, raised to a new life in Christ through the waters of baptism.  He is the husband of the lovely and loving Kelli Kaiser, and has been called by God and the people of King of Kings to serve them with care as a spiritual shepherd and steward of the mysteries of God. If youever have questions about who God is, how He works, what His will is for your life, or you’d just like to chat, Pastor Ben would love to share time with you!

 

Gil Schepmann
Director of Early Childhood Education Ministries

Gil Schepmann, born and raised on a Central Kansas farm, attended St. John’s Jr. College, Windfield, KS and graduated from Concordia Teachers College, Seward, NE in 1969 with a Lutheran Teachers Diploma and Bachelor of Science in Education. He received his Master of Arts in Education from Concordia College, River Forest, IL, in 1979. Gil has served 40 years in Lutheran education in various capacities as teacher, principal and early childhood director. Gil has served King of Kings since 1997 as interim DCE, Early Childhood Teacher and Early Childhood Director. His wife, Judi, who also is a graduate of Concordia Teachers College, is a teacher at King of Kings as well and has taught children ages 3 – High School.

Debbie Billman
Director of Worship and Music Ministries

Debbie has had the joy of serving the King of Kings congregation through worship and music ministries for over 25 years. God has richly blessed our congregation with people who enjoy using their musical talents to help provide meaningful worship for our members and guests. Debbie plans our worship services and directs the various music groups at King of Kings, as well as offers music support to the Sunday School and our Early Childhood Education Ministries.

Debbie and her husband, David, have been married for 35 years. Their children, Mike, Kevin, and Kevin’s wife, Laura, also worship at King of Kings.

Kim Zumkehr
Administrative Assistant

Kim provides administrative support to the staff and congregation of King of Kings.  She has held a variety of administrative positions for over 17 years and is a graduate of Purdue University. Kim has found that it is a pleasure to serve this warm and caring church family.

Kim, her husband, Kevin, and son, Ben, are members of Heritage Presbyterian Church.
